MSN Algorithms

          It becomes clear considering MSN algorithm that it is far behind of algorithms of other search systems. So what should we do now? Should we optimize the same way as we optimized for Google some years ago? The true is somewhere nearby, but not everything is so simple.

          One of obvious distinctions is still active using of metatags by MSN. There is no any search system using metatags so actively, metatags are the last century in the search industry. It is obviously that metatags give the experts in search optimization field a chance to manipulate by search results. Probably, metatags are the main reason of inadequate results which MSN gives out.

IMAGE           Besides, there are some distinctions in approaches to keywords. Certainly, keywords play also not the last role in MSN ranging, but everything here is a little differently. Leading factors for MSN are online factors whereas offline factors plays insignificant role. Certainly, this fact will change in the future, but that is the way it is at present.

          So where is a catch in it? The meaning is that it is necessary to work wisely. If you carry out correct optimization you will have a great deal, you will have a good rating in Google, and have high enough rating in MSN and Yahoo also.
